Hyatt Centric - Philadelphia

The Hyatt Centric project was a collaboration between YC Visuals and NYC based artist Fanny Allié.

We sourced objects and accessories to be displayed in the hotel's magnificent lobby and created artwork for all of the hotel's public spaces, which included- main entrance, corridors and elevator halls.

The displayed artwork explore questions of home, passage and ephemeral. We used these works to inquire about how our modern conceptions of culture and humanity define the values of people and societies.

Each art piece was created through a process combining accidents and intentions and was a materialization of fugitive moments, gestures and encounters. The artwork shares areas of landscapes and architectures, using abstraction with figurative elements and attempts to capture the dignity and beauty of the human form and of our planet, where the human condition binds some figures together while pushing others apart.
